Information on the application of Guidelines on ILAAP and ICAAP in a bank

Within the regulatory activities of the Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter: the Agency), the applicable regulatory requirements on the Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process of the bank (hereinafter: ILAAP) have been supplemented, same as informing, i.e. reporting to the Agency on the ILAAP for the need of implementation of the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP). This activity resulted in the adoption and publication of the Decision on the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process and the Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process in a bank (Official Gazette of the FBiH, No. 16/19).

In accordance with Article 19 paragraph (1) of this Decision, the Director of the Agency, within the prescribed deadline, issued the Guidelines on reporting to the Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the application of ICAAP and ILAAP in a bank, the constituent parts of which are the Report on implementation of ICAAP and ILAAP, and accompanying Instructions for Completing the Report, as well as forms related to sectoral and individual concentration (hereinafter: Guidelines).

The Guidelines were published on the web site of the Agency on April 18, 2018, under the section New Regulatory Framework , together with the Decision.

By the adoption of the Guidelines, regulatory requirements related to ILAAP were completed and detailed, in order to timely and adequately prepare banks for the application and reporting of ILAAP, which is one of the supervisory assessment components within the SREP.
